Web Design and CMS Case Study - Using .net (2) and Microsoft sql
Northwest online was recently
awarded the contract to redesign the Alex
Stewart Assayers Ltd corporate website ahead
of 6 of the Northwest's leading web design agencies.
The old website required a
fresh design as well as a robust, but simple
Content Management
System (CMS) to manage the day to day running
of the site.
As part of the bidding
process Northwest Online worked closely with
the Alex Stewart to fully understand their requirements
and in-house skill base. By gaining a full understanding
of their requirements we were able to put together
a detailed specification which fully met their
needs without being overly complex or expensive.
In addition to providing
a detailed specification and costing Northwest
Online created the following example designs
to provide some possible examples to match a
general design brief laid down by Alex Stewart:

This final design was chosen
by Alex Stewart and was further developed to
produce the site that can now be seen online
at: www.alexstewartagriculture.com.
The project was built using Microsoft's powerful .NET
platform - using ASP.net (2) and Microsoft SQL
database.
